Matthew Jones

Principal Environmental Scientist

Matt Jones is the Managing Director and Principal Environmental Scientist of Enpoint. Matt operates from Enpoint's southwest office in Dunsborough.

Matt has 20 years’ experience in site investigation, risk assessment and remediation for the upstream oil and gas, retail petroleum, mining, heavy industrial, waste management, financial and land development sectors in Western Australia.  

Matt has worked on multi-disciplinary, technically complex projects for Chevron operations in the states northwest for over 15 years. Matt has also provided consultancy services to other oil and gas entities including Anterres Energy, AWE and the Gorgon Upstream Joint Venture on soil and groundwater contamination related issues. Other Companies that Matt has provided consultancy services to include Belven Enterprises Pty Ltd, City and Regional Fuels, City of Busselton, Delta Group, Doral Minerals Sands, Gull Petroleum Pty Ltd, McDonalds, Perth Airport and Shire of Augusta Margaret River.

Matt has a proven track record in accelerated site investigation, risk assessment, sustainable/risk based remediation and site closure.

Matt is a member of Australian Petroleum Production and Exploration Association (APPEA), Australasian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA), the National Groundwater Association (NGWA) and the International Association of Hydrogeologists (IAH). 


Jeff Shivak

Principal Environmental Scientist

Jeff Shivak is a Director and Principal Environmental Scientist at Enpoint. Jeff operates from Enpoint's metropolitan office in Fremantle.

Jeff has 15 years' experience in designing, implementing and managing contamination investigations and remediation projects.  Throughout his career, Jeff has been involved in conducting projects of this nature with numerous global multi-disciplinary environmental consulting firms in both Australia and Canada.  

Based in Perth WA, Jeff has conducted, managed and directed numerous large-scale contamination investigation and remediation projects for clients in government, industry, mining, oil and gas and property transfer and redevelopment.  Jeff has gained specific technical skills and expertise which enable him to provide high quality strategic advice for addressing environmental related risk and liabilities in order to fulfill the requirements of clients, auditors and regulators alike. 

As a Principal and Director at Enpoint, Jeff has successfully designed, managed and implemented contamination investigations and risk-based remedial and management strategies which have enabled his clients to effectively achieve their objectives.

Jeff is a member of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA) and the National Groundwater Association (NGWA). 


David Boykett

Senior Environmental Scientist

David is a Senior Environmental Scientist of Enpoint. Dave operates from Enpoint's southwest office in Dunsborough 

Dave has 10 years’ experience in site investigation, risk assessment and remediation for the upstream oil and gas, retail petroleum, mining, heavy industrial, waste management,land development sectors in Western Australia.  

Dave has worked on multi-disciplinary, technically complex projects for Chevron operations in the states northwest for over 9 years.  Other Companies that Dave has provided consultancy services to include Monadelphous/KT Pipelines JV , Belven Enterprises Pty Ltd, City and Regional Fuels, City of Busselton, Delta Group, Doral Minerals Sands, Gull Petroleum Pty Ltd.

Dave has also provided covering fill for Chevrons operational personnel on Barrow island including  supervision of  environmental contractors and providing environmental support for oil field operations.

Dave is a member of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA) and the Society for Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry (SETAC).


Jade Begg

Environmental Scientist

Jade Begg is an Environmental Scientist at Enpoint. Jade operates from Enpoint’s southwest office in Dunsborough. Jade has over 3 years’ experience in various environmental roles, with over 2 years’ in the contaminated land industry.

Jade has been involved in numerous contamination investigations and remediation projects. These include site investigation, risk assessment and remediation for Chevron, on Barrow Island, service stations, landfill and development sites. Jade is involved in the coordination and implementation of field activities, management of sample submission and analysis undertaken by analytical laboratories, quality control compliance, data management, health and safety, and investigation reporting.

Jade is a member of the Australasian Land and Groundwater Association (ALGA).


Tanya Jones

Accounts Manager

Tanya provides administrative support and manages all aspects of accounting, being responsible for financial control, reporting and compliance. With over 20 years’ experience in all areas of office administration and support she has excellent communication, computer, typing and alphanumeric data entry skills.

Tanya coordinates various office support services, including supervising purchasing processes and selecting suppliers. In addition, Tanya assists in the evaluation of sub-contractors as required under AS/NZS 4801:2001 and manages processes, procedures and systems under ISO 9001:2008.
